Lee White

Board President and Development Committee Member

One day in 1994, Lee walked into the UCPAGI Executive Director’s office and asked how he could help. He has been serving the agency every since as a tireless promoter and activist for people with disabilities. Lee developed our outstanding Fund Development Committee and many of our successful fund raising programs. He currently serves as President of our Board of Directors. In 1996, Lee received the United Way Minority Volunteer of the Year Award, and in 1998, he received the UCPAGI Theresa Goodman Contribution Award. When he is not volunteering, Lee is the Vice President of Business Development at Mainscape, a commercial landscaping and snow management company.

Past Board President and Program Committee Chair

Mike is the only member of the board who was first a client of the agency. In 1996, Mike was the first recipient of UCPAGI Book-Coleman Scholarship. Mike completed his Bachelor Degree, and is now back in Indianapolis as a Program Analyst for the IU Center for Health Policy researching ways to improve health care and services for people with disabilities. Mike also serves on the Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities and the Robots to the Rescue Foundation.

Maureen Schulz

Board and Development Committee Member

Prior to retiring, Maureen served for many years as a nurse at the Cerebral Palsy Clinic at Riley Hospital for Children. She enjoys fund raising almost as much as she enjoyed her occupation. Since 1999, Maureen has been the leader of our efforts to secure prizes and auction items for each of our annual fund raising events. She and her husband, Kenny, also help out physically at our Awards Dinner and Women’s Golf Classic.

Since July of 2010, John has been the Assistant Vice President of Regional Development for Riley Children’s Foundation and has been on faculty at the Indiana University Fund Raising School since 2006. Prior to joining Riley, John served as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for TCM International Institute. John received his Masters in Public Administration and concentration in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University and Indiana University Center on Philanthropy. His background in the areas of organizational development, board development, fundraising and sustainability planning make him an invaluable asset to the Development Committee and Board at UCPAGI.  John lives in Indianapolis with his wife Kelley and their three daughters.

Board and Finance Committee Member

Eric began serving on UCPAGI’s Finance Committee in 2009. He has been in the public accounting industry since 2005, and is currently a CPA at Blue & Co., LLC. serving clients on their tax planning, consulting and compliance needs. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in accounting and is a member of the Indiana CPA Society Emerging Leaders Alliance, Carmel Chamber of Commerce, Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and the Indiana Subcontractors Association.

After attending the 2011 Attitude Dinner, Paula was called to get more involved with UCPAGI. A graduate of Anderson University, Paula is the Senior Director of Human Resources for Just Marketing Intl, a global Motorsports Marketing Agency. Over the years, Paula has served not only in HR leadership roles but also in sales management positions in the staffing and retail industries. A passion for the agency stems from a life-long friendship with an inspirational best friend. Paula has a passion for marketing and hosting VIP Charity Events aimed at showcasing the work and mission of UCP.

Brian Richardson

Board and Program Committee Member

With no personal disabilities experience, Brian was connected to UCPAGI through a posting on VolunteerMatch.com and was able to contribute to the Robots to the Rescue program immediately. With broad experience in the automotive industry, Brian’s background in engineering and business offer a different perspective in support of the Program Committee and Board at UCPAGI. He received his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business and his undergraduate engineering degree from Purdue University. Since July of 2010, Brian has been a reliability engineer at Caterpillar in Lafayette, IN.

After first getting involved in the UCPAGI golf event in 2006, Craig later joined the Fund Development committee and, later, the Board, eventually becoming President until his term expired. Craig rejoined the board in 2016 and is excited to see the energy and the commitment of all the board members. Craig is a Ball State University graduate, an Assistive Technology Specialist and Certified Autism Specialist at Easter Seals Crossroads. His passion has been Augmentative Communication since he began working for a leading manufacturer of devices in 1996. He has operated his own business and has developed applications for mobile devices and handles many of the AAC cases at Crossroads. Craig lives in Indianapolis with his wife Cathy. They have two daughters and three grandsons that are a big part of their lives.

Board and Development Committee Member

Chris began serving on UCPAGI’s Development Committee in 2010 and currently serves as the Chair of the Development Committee. He’s been working as a Sales Manager for five years with Renovia, a national painting contractor that’s based in Indianapolis. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, FL with a B.S. in business management and was a four year member of the golf team. Chris is happily married to his wife Lindsey and together they have a one year old son, Everett & another baby due in July 2016.

 

Board and Development Committee Member

As a mother to an 8-year-old son who suffered a stroke at birth, and subsequently, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Traci has a heart for assisting those families affected as well. Since 1998, Traci has been in Business Development for the Staffing and Industrial industries, recently joining the Morales Group in 2014. As fate would have it, Morales Group’s vision, Building Better Futures One Story at a Time, reaffirms Traci’s determination to always lend a helping hand, which aligns perfectly with UCPAGI’s vision.  Prior to attending Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, Traci attended Cathedral High School and is a native of the Indianapolis area. Traci and her husband, Terry, reside in Carmel with their two children, Cole (8 yrs) and Mackenzie (5 yrs).
